My first experience with Jumia was Black Friday Nov 2015. This was the first time that Kenyans had experienced anything this grand in nature being hosted on-line; allowing Kenyans to shop from the comfort of their seats, beds, wherever for deals at crazy prices. Looking back, I can truly say, e-commerce came into being on that day. As a nation we embraced Jumia, we did so with such zeal and gave it a big bear hug that the web-site actually passed out from the sheer embrace.
