I have a full time job but I have always had a passion for fashion like most young girls my age. While perusing for fashion items in Kenya, I saw there was a gap in the market for unique fashionable clothes which were reasonably priced. So with my first import in hand, and no actual sales channel aside from facebook, I decided to sell fashion items on Jumia through their self sign up process.
When I first went live on Jumia, I got so many sales it was amazing! During their Black-Friday campaign, my sales went up to 300,000 Kshs for the first time! I received a lot of help from Jumia such as advice on assortment and discounts for my products during the campaigns that they run. Jumia has literally held my hand through the journey and through the proceeds from Jumia, I opened up a stall in town, with the hope of expanding to other areas. I am very proud when I see someone walking on the street dressed by Gianni Moda fashions. Thank you Jumia!
