We are a 100% Nigerian men’s fashion line with a focus on contemporary and traditional men’s outfits as well as footwear. I started my journey in the Nigerian Fashion industry in 2011 as an employee in a well-known Nigerian Fashion brand. When I decided to leave to work on my own brand, Jumia was one of the key factors that contributed to the brand’s success in the early days of Jay Osbie. Not only was I able to get an insight into the mindset of customers and their buying patterns by selling on Jumia, I was also able to get a platform to reach out to millions of customers. In the first 6 months of selling on Jumia, we sold out about 5,000 clothing items! The secret to the success of being a fashion vendor on Jumia is listening to the customers and providing fashion pieces that meet their wants. Jumia Nigeria helped make this Nigerian idea a reality!
