I must say it’s been an amazing roller coaster ride in my career path moving from the banking industry to Jumia, the fastest growing startup in Nigeria.
Jumia has provided me an incomparable opportunity of 5 different interesting roles in just 3 years. I have had the chance of growing from a Project Manager on payment systems to managing a gigantic P&L worth over N500M for a thousand vendors on Jumia’s largest product category, It’s crazy!
I am most proud of leading the vendor support center, together as a team we assisted thousands of vendors during our transition to the marketplace. That’s not all! We cleared the backlog of returns, we designed the “30-day vendor protection” and the list goes on and on!
