My name is Ladipo Lawani, I am the CEO of L&L foods. L&L foods is a food processing company that manufactures a peanut brand called Mr. Ekpa. Since we launched in October 2015, we have been able to get our product on the shelves of over 1200 stores but our goal is to be in one million stores. By selling our products on Jumia’s online marketplace, we have been able reach millions of customers all over the country!
One of the biggest problems we local manufacturers face is the inability to get our products into all markets across the nation. Whereas the bigger companies are able to achieve this at negligible costs. With Jumia, we have been able to reach markets as far as Kano and Kaduna while still building a sustainable business.
